Privacy Policy

Effective date: to be finalized before launch.

This page is maintained by Found and describes our current data practices for the early-access product. Company details, contact address, and the current subprocessor list will be filled in before public launch. For our short, plain-language commitments to users, see the Privacy Promise.

1. Introduction

Found helps people check whether they're overpaying for their mobile phone bill. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please contact us and we'll fix it.

2. Information we collect

  • Quiz answers you provide (current carrier, number of lines, approximate monthly spend, plan preferences).
  • Bill uploads, if you choose to share one, so we can look for line-item savings.
  • Contact info (email, and phone if you provide it) so we can send your result or follow up.
  • Usage data from the site (pages viewed, drop-off points, device type, referrer, UTM parameters) collected via cookies and similar technologies only after you accept in the banner.

3. How we use it

  • Run your bill check and deliver your result.
  • Improve the product — what works, what doesn't, where people get stuck.
  • Contact you about your result, and only send other messages if you opt in.
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact info with mobile carriers as part of the bill check. See our Privacy Promise for the specifics.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies for analytics and product improvement. Tracking scripts do not load until you accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the button below.

5. Service providers

We use a small set of third-party services to host the site, store your data, and send email. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and only handles data on our behalf. The current list is available on request and will be published here before public launch.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your quiz answers and bill uploads only as long as needed to deliver your result and improve the product. You can request deletion of your data at any time — contact us and we'll confirm within a reasonable period.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Contact us to exercise any of these rights and we won't discriminate against you for doing so.

8. Children

Found is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the information we store. No online service can promise perfect security, but we treat your bill data with the same care we'd want for our own.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.

11. Contact
